WMSC # 111

Phew, What a week this has been - so grateful it is Saturday. The first week back at work after summerbreak is always CRAZY + this year, since Mikael's paternity leave is over we had to  introduce Ted to "dagis" (day care) at the same time. Luckily we've had my mum come down to help us - What would we have done without her ? She's taken care of Ted and has run our houshold - still I'm totally exhausted!
Enough of complaining - on to business; Here's the new wonderful sketch at the Waltzing Mouse Stamps Sketch challenge. It's by our super talented WMS DT member Julia Aston.

For fabulous inspiration from the rest of the Mischief Makers and some of the DT's and for all the info you need for participating and your chance to win a full set of WMS of your choice go straight HERE!
Ps. If you are fast enough you could combine it with this month's Blog Party challenge; Birthdays - check the details on the WMS blog!

For my card I used Waltzing Mouse Stamps from French Country and Fancy Frames.
I'm entering this for the challenges at:
I Love Promarkers  gardens
Ribbon Carousel Challenge  #66 Celebrating Summer

Have a great day, hugs, Karin!

    Lawnscaping challenge + tutorial

    Hi Everyone!
I'm here to introduce a new challenge at Lawnscaping. This time it is a One Layer Challenge!!!
With us this week we have two wonderful guest designers that you will love: Julie Ebersole  and Kari Webster

A few weeks ago I showed a tutorial for how to make a sweet  case for your paperhandkerchiefs and for this challenge's sample I decided to make a card to go with it. A simple but perfect litle gift for someone who's come down with a cold and needs a little Feel Better greeting.

For my card and case I used stamps from Lawn Fawn's Flutter By,  Critters in the burbs and Claire's ABC's.

And our fabulous sponsor; Simon Says stamp!!! You can win a25 $ giftcertificate to the store YEAH!!!
Pop over to Lawnscaping for all the info you need and to join!

    Simon Says Stamp

Here's the tutorial in case you missed it at Lawnscaping.

    1. Stamp your pattern diagonally across the fabric. Iused Archival black and Lawn Fawn's Flutter By and Critters in the Burbs!
    2. Color your images with Promarkers or Copics. Cut a 4.7 x 6.3 (12x16 cm) piece and cut another piece (the same size) from white fabric for the lining.

    3. Put the pieces wrong sides out and sew the sides together with straight stitches.

    4. Turn right sides out and iron.

    5. With the patterned side in fold the sides till they meet at the middle. Iron and then sew the edges together. Zig-zag the seam-allowance.

    6. Put your pile of napkins on the ”back” and turn it right side out around the napkins (found that this is the easiest way to get them in!)! Use a pen to push out the corners.

    7. Voila! You're done!!!

Have a great day, hugs, Karin

    Hello!

I don't know what happened to last week! I had an entry ready for the Tuesday Trigger at Moxie Fab World but somehow I must have lost track of days )-: - Though I guess that is the good part of being off work, right? Well, it was a birthday card so I'll probably show here it quite soon.

Anyway, this week I'm posting my Tuesday trigger card as fast as I could (-:!

I was inspired by the colors of the keys and my first plan was to make a clean and simple card with just the hello words in the key colors - but being me - I never really like my own CAS cards so I added the typewriter and suddenly I liked it much better (-:

I'm also entering this for the Freestyle challenge at A blog named Hero and the What do you say challenge at Simon Says Stamp and Show

Ps. If you have this Hero Arts Typewriter stamp I have made a lot of messages to go with it. If you want to use them you can download them HERE.

    Supplies;
    Stamps; Hero Arts CL483
    Patterned Papers; K and Co
    Inks; Distress and Versa Mark
