Sunday Watercolor: Winter in the Archipelago

It is Sunday and I'm here to share a new watercolor.


I use Winsor Newtons Artists' (- Professional as they now are called )watercolors and Daniel Smith's extra fine watercolors. The paper I use is 140lb Arches rough or fine.

Beautiful, Karin. It looks cold! You definitely captured that sensation with your blues and grays. The brown in the one rock adds interest and depth. It just amazes me that your watercolors don't have a lot of detail in outlines and such, but I can see the detail with your different colors. I'm not explaining it well, but I hope you get what I am trying to say. I'm just in awe. Hugs!
